Richard Montgomery got on the board first and the patriots responded quickly to tie up the game on a goal by Kendal Clark. Great passing play by the Patriots found Kendal Clark in the circle again and she added her second goal of the evening which proved to be the game winner. Wootton returns to action on Monday afternoon at Churchill high school at 4pm.

Game Recap

The Patriots wrapped up their season Wednesday evening with a win against Quince Orchard. Both teams played strong the entire game and had multiple attempts on goal. In the second half the Patriots took the lead with a goal from sophomore, Monica Godnick, and were able to hold off the Quince Orchard offense for the remainder of the match.

Wootton played a tough game in the rain at Quince Orchard. Both teams competed hard throughout the game but QO was able to convert on a corner that proved to be the game winner. Wootton returns home on Monday 10/16th against Gaithersburg.

Game Recap

The Patriots won on Friday evening in their match against Northwood. Both teams displayed consistent effort for the entire 50 minutes. The Northwood defense was able to stop many of Wootton’s attempts on goal during the first half, and forced the Patriots to work on connecting passes and maintaining their spacing in order to secure the win.

Wootton lost 3-0 to a tough Churchill team. The Patriots fought hard and kept pushing throughout the game, but just couldn’t push past a strong churchill defense. The Patriots defense played a great game and shut down many Churchill opportunities.

Game Recap

Wootton came out strong and played fluent passing hockey throughout the first half. Two goals by Caitlyn Greenspun gave the Patriots a 2-0 lead at half time. Wootton kept up the momentum early in the second half and great passing hockey resulted in a Jordyn Taylor goal to make it 3-0. Poolesville kept fighting and brought it within one with two second half goals. Wootton stayed composed and kept possession towards the end to preserve the win. The Patriots return to action on Wednesday October 4th at Churchill High School.
