Meet Recap

The Patriots shook things up a bit this week with a unique lineup against Sherwood, as many of our athletes were participating in the Holiday Invitational. This allowed many of our athletes to try out some new events. Our boys held true with a close victory of 92-74, and, while our girls tried their hardest, they fell to one of the strongest teams in the division with a score of 112-59.

That being said, we started off with a first place win in the 200 Medley relay from Ryan Foster, William Shen, Eric Meyer, and Yusuf VanGieson. This was right after taking first and second place in boys diving (Michael Tran & Ryan Foster) and first and fourth place in girls diving (Regan Westwood & Lily Parker).
The wins continued as Jonathan Yune took the 200 free and Jeffrey Qin and Lillian Henry touched out their competition in the 50 free.

We wrapped up the second half with a win from Eric Meyer in the 100 fly, first and second places in the 500 from Jocelyn Merkin and Hannah Weiss, and wins from Rita Zhang (100 back) and William Shen (100 breast).

Stay strong, Patriots!
