Thomas S Wootton High School
Wootton and BCC played a fast pace highly competitive game Tuesday night. The Patriots got on the board early when Julia Stern scored off a penalty corner rebound. The patriots kept pushing hard for the remainder of the first half and had many opportunities. The second half was very tightly contested and BCC really tested the Wootton defense which held up strong. BCC received a penalty stroke and were able to tie up the game. Both teams continued to test each other and looked to find the game winner, but the game ended up going into overtime. BCC capitalized on an early penalty corner in the first period of overtime. Wootton returns to action Saturday morning at 10am at Whitman.
