Game Recap

The Wootton Patriot Junior Varsity baseball team won today’s game against the Walter Johnson Wildcats by a score of 9 to 3. Wootton took an early lead in the game and held the lead for the entire game. The Patriots scored on a walk by Ethan Reff, a walk by Daren Chang, and a single by Will Karis in the first inning. The Patriots scored four runs in the fifth inning to finish off the game. This Patriots big inning was driven by a single by Andrew Misovec, a single by Freddie Rodgers, a fielder’s choice by Graham Blondes, and a walk by Reff. The Patriots had eight hits in the game. Will Karis, Connor Walsh, Misovec, and Rodgers each collected multiple hits for the Patriots. Rodgers, Misovec, Walsh, and Karis each managed two hits to lead the Patriots..
Dev Zoks earned another win for the season by pitching four solid innings. Connor Walsh ended the game with a solid pitching performace in the fifth and sixth innings.
The Patriots look to continue this mini winning streak when they play home against the BCC Barons on Saturday at 10am.
