Northwest High School Captures Lead Early To Defeat 4A West Wootton/Patriots High School Varsity

4A West Wootton/Patriots High School Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-0 loss to Northwest High School on Monday. Northwest High School scored on a double by A Bowen, a single by K King, and an error in the first inning.
Northwest High School captured the lead in the first inning. A Bowen drove in one when she doubled in the first inning.
Northwest High School scored four runs in the third inning. The big inning for Northwest High School came thanks to a error and a error.
A double by Hannah Johnston in the first inning was a positive for 4A West Wootton/Patriots High School Varsity.
Amber Yuille earned the win for Northwest High School. She tossed five innings, allowing zero runs, three hits, striking out seven, and walking zero. Meredith White took the loss for 4A West Wootton/Patriots High School Varsity. She threw five innings, surrendering 11 runs, 11 hits, and striking out two.
Alyssa Robinson, Crystal Bridge, and Johnston each managed one hit to lead 4A West Wootton/Patriots High School Varsity.
Northwest High School collected 11 hits. Yuille and Kayla Qassis each collected multiple hits for Northwest High School. Yuille went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Northwest High School in hits. Northwest High School was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Bowen made the most plays with seven.
